DAG FOR DAG

Swedish Brother and sister duo 'Dag For Dag' have released one of the finest EP's of the year. A perfect blend of Joy Division and early PJ Harvey 'Shooting from the Shadows' is released through Saddle Creek Europe.

There is no better soundtrack to the summer that SKA..so when we heard the new single by KID BRITISH we knew the summer was set to be a craker with their new take on dancehall / ska. With support slots to The Specials and The Enemy to their name the four guys are set to make you skank the summer away!

DJANGO JAMES

Heres another one for you to pop on a postit note...Django James and The Midnight Squires. The band is half British, half from LA and have a sense of bohemian Rock, reminiscent of a rolling stones as well influences of a young David Byrne!!

Their debut single, ‘Hurricane’ through Once Upon A Time Records is relesed on the 13th July 2009.!

DANGER MOUSE TALKS

To co-incide with the recent Joker's Daughter single (and forthcoming album 'The Last Laugh' - out 15th June) Danger Mouse talked about how the collaboration between Helena Costas and himself took place and bore fruit. He talks about why he chose to work with Helena, working in collaboration projects and how this one came about etc.
